Further enhancing durability, both the front and back are shielded by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus+. The phone's substantial weight of 228 grams and sizable 6.9-inch display make it less suitable for those with smaller hands.

The S22 Ultra's 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, boasting a resolution of 3088 x 1440 and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, offers exceptional visual quality. Its peak brightness of 1750 nits, the industry's highest for a smartphone display, ensures excellent visibility even under intense sunlight. The panel's performance is equally impressive for HDR content on platforms like YouTube and Netflix.
